The latest Quarter 3 short stay accommodation data is now available.
The Short Stay Accommodation Act 2019 requires booking platform providers to report information about short stay accommodation listings in Tasmania every quarter. This data helps Building Standards Tasmania monitor short stay accommodation activity across the state and supports planning, policy and compliance activities.
You can now view the latest Quarter 3 information through the Short Stay Accommodation Dashboard and quarterly reports. The dashboard allows users to explore data from January 2025 onwards, view trends over time and compare information across reporting periods.
Whether you're a property owner, accommodation operator, local council, researcher or community member, these reports provide an up-to-date snapshot of short stay accommodation activity in Tasmania.
